Health Plan Pricing Senior Analyst

Health Plan Pricing Analyst Overview Responsible for ensuring appropriate collateral is received and determining the appropriate medical rate for a prospect. Analysts use specialized tools developed by third‑party industry experts and TriNet's carrier partners to evaluate submitted documents and census information to determine correct medical pricing based on the risk presented. Key Responsibilities Work independently to conduct prospect census review, including medical plans and rates, to determine the appropriate medical price based on the presented risk of the prospect. Evaluate required documents using various tools, including a medical pricing tool. Communicate with Sales colleagues. Assist with reviewing and evaluating output of the tools and resources TriNet uses and make suggestions for improvements on these tools and the Health Plan Pricing process. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience Qualifications Typically 2+ years required. Experience in insurance pricing preferred. Skills & Abilities Ability to interpret and analyze detailed medical plans and related documents. Ability to solve problems using mathematical skills. Possess independent thinking skills and complete projects with minimal guidance. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel. Ability to communicate with Sales personnel regarding Health Plan Pricing guidelines and requirements. Travel Requirements Minimal. Work Environment Work in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office or home setting. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is $69,300.00 to $117,900.00, depending on skills, education, work location, and experience. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
