Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a NICU night shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care RRT hospital experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy unit of a large acute care hospital with 502 beds,
• Unit staffed with 8-10 clinical RTs plus a charge RT per shift,
• Patient ratio of 10:1,
• Utilizes Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators,
• Meditech EMR used for charting,
• Night shift hours from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM,
• 13-week assignment length,
• Performs breathing treatments and ventilator assessments,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care RRT hospital experience,
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required,
• NICU/PEDS experience preferred,
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred,
• License required if applicable,
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Deliver respiratory care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity NICU setting,
• Work as part of a collaborative team including charge RTs and clinical staff,
• Ideal candidates are high-energy, patient-focused, and interested in critical care,
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
