Northeast Regional Medical Center (NERMC) in Kirksville, Missouri is recruiting a board-certified, board-eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a hospital employed practice serving a growing regional patient population.

  • Full-time, hospital employed position (no locums or part-time)

  • General orthopedics with some total joints
  • \n
  • Nurse Practitioner support
  • \n
  • Hospital has a Level III trauma designation
  • \n
  • Dedicated block time with 24/7 anesthesia
  • \n
  • High volume, quick ramp-up
  • \n
  • Access to robot
  • \n
  • 5 ORs, run 3-4 rooms daily
  • \n
  • Shared call coverage
  • \n
  • Office space available with x-ray
  • \n
  • Work in a supportive environment with access to referring PCPs and specialists
  • \n
  • Robust onboarding, marketing, and physician outreach support
  • \n
  • Strong clinical and administrative support
  • \n
  • Dedicated medical assistant from day one, additional support added as volume grows
  • \n
  • Clinic has 10 exam rooms
  • \n
  • Casting and imaging available in the clinic
  • \n
  • Teaching opportunities across five residency programs
  • \n
  • Experienced surgeons preferred, but will consider strong new graduates
  • \n
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible and have completed U.S. residency training
  • \n
  • J1 visa support is available

Northeast Regional Medical Center is a 93-bed acute care hospital serving 11 counties in Northeast Missouri.
