Job Details Job Location: Kannapolis, NC 28083 Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.00 hourly Job Shift: 1st shift (days) Starting Pay: $15 with potential to earn up to $22, depending on position and your years of experience. Location & Start Dates This role will be based at our Kannapolis, NC facility. Candidates who are able to train temporarily at our Statesville, NC location may be eligible to start immediately. Candidates who are only able to work in Kannapolis should expect start dates beginning in June. Position Details Full‑time, Monday - Friday. First shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Follow machine schedule of orders set by leadership. Review order information, art size, pallet size, screens for defects, and other basic information prior to setup. Insert and align screens into machine. Ensure dryer speed and temperature are appropriate for fabric and ink type to prevent migration issues. Add correct ink color and type based on the CAD. Load and unload garments onto machine at appropriate pace to maximize productivity and meet or exceed quality expectations. Print Unloader Salary: $16 hourly Remove printed garments from the press quickly and carefully. Inspect each garment for print accuracy, alignment, and quality (e.g., ink coverage, smudges, defects). Organize and stack garments according to production orders and specifications. Inspector Salary: $15 – $20 hourly Review CAD and Sales Order documentation for quantity and style. Inspect test garments for proper placement, logo size, and correct colors; approve or reject per company standards. Inspect line‑off garments for quality errors including incorrect logo placement, ink spots or stains, and garment defects; follow fallout documentation and replacement procedures when needed. Attach hangtags or other packaging to garments as required by the order. Count and bundle garments to confirm order fulfillment. Heat Press Operator Salary: $15 – $20 hourly Operate heat press machine to decorate garments accurately, on time, and with planned efficiency according to specifications. Read and comprehend reference sheets and related documents to correctly place designs or numbers on garments. Select designs and numbers to apply. Set up heat press machines according to transfer specifications. Imager Salary: $16 – $21 hourly Use assigned computer to download art files to the Direct‑to‑Screen (DTS) machine’s software. Operate DTS machine to produce screens per schedule. Develop imaged screens with water using an automatic Eco‑Rinse machine. Inspect imaged screens for defects vs artwork and make corrections as needed. Tape off appropriate areas on screen and organize all screens by work order for supervisor or stager to take. Coat screens with emulsion using an automatic coating machine. Direct to Film Operator Salary: $16 – $21 hourly Set up and operate Direct to Film (DTF) printing machines according to job specifications. Load artwork files to ensure accurate color output, alignment, and resolution; assist with cutting film as needed. Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning printheads and checking ink levels.
