We are seeking a safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support order picking and inventory operations in a large distribution environment. This role involves operating order pickers at elevated heights, handling materials, and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker at heights up to 28 feet to pick and stage inventory
• Use RF scanners to identify items, confirm picks, and track inventory locations
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials
• Move large items, including appliances, using team-lift procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, especially when working at heights
• Support general warehouse operations as needed

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent, stable warehouse experience
• Ability to work at heights up to 28 feet
• Experience using RF scanners or willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Stable work history with no unexplained gaps exceeding 3 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (PIT)
• Forklift or order picker experience
• Background in shipping, receiving, or inventory management
