Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes. This position allows you to engage with a variety of cases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our radiology services. Responsibilities Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans Communicate results and findings to referring physicians Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Provide expert consultations on radiology cases Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology Mentor and guide junior staff in imaging techniques Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions Requirements Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Radiology Associate level experience in radiology practice Strong knowledge of imaging modalities (X‑ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Current medical licensure in the state of Florida Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Setting: Onsite Daily Volume: Up to 5 biopsies, 2-3 MRIs, ~35 diagnostics Full mammography scope, including biopsies and breast MR Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
