Job Summary And Qualifications Speech Language Pathologist The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)is responsible forperforming comprehensive patient evaluations of cognitive-communication, swallowing, voice, speech, hearing, and/or language, as ordered by physicians.You willbe responsible forall aspects of patient care including evaluation, plan of care, treatments, education of patient/family, communication with physicians, and documentation of patient care. What you will do in this role: You will complete videofluoroscopicswallow studies according to policy and procedure in a safe manner You will develop and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians. You will treat patientsin accordance withSpeech/Language Pathology standards of care and practice. You will perform evaluations such as bedside swallowing evaluations, accurately andcommunicatesresultstimelyto allappropriate membersof the healthcare team. You will formulate a teaching plan based onidentifiedlearning needs andevaluateseffectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching asappropriate. What qualifications you will need: Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with Patient, Staff, Physicians, Community Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology Current SLP license in state of Tennessee AHA BLS certification within30 daysof employment Serving our community for the past 40 years, TriStar Southern Hills has been a leader for a wide range of healthcare services.
