Lead Specialist, Quality, Digital

GE HealthCare seeks a Lead Specialist in Digital Quality to provide quality leadership for software products and cloud-based solutions in the Pacific Northwest. This role partners across product, engineering, and regulatory teams to establish risk-based controls throughout the software lifecycle and translates quality management system requirements into scalable development practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality guidance throughout product development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement activities
- Evaluate software intended use, boundaries, and risk to determine quality and regulatory requirements
- Oversee software lifecycle activities including requirements, design, verification, validation, and configuration management
- Partner with engineering teams to implement scalable quality practices in Agile and DevSecOps environments
- Train cross-functional teams on software lifecycle, documentation, risk management, and quality management system expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality, or related technical field; or high school diploma with 10+ years relevant experience
- 6+ years software quality, software engineering, design assurance, or digital product development experience
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar software development methodologies
- Knowledge of software lifecycle principles including requirements, design, verification, validation, configuration and change management
- Ability to translate quality system requirements into practical processes for product and engineering teams
- Strong technical writing, documentation review, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Compensation: $106,400-$159,600 annual
