Territory Manager, Mass Spectrometry Sales, Upstate New York

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Territory Manager to drive mass spectrometry product sales across Upstate New York. The role involves meeting revenue targets, managing customer relationships, and demonstrating technical expertise in analytical instruments. Requires a bachelor's degree in life sciences and 3+ years of sales experience, preferably with scientific capital equipment.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets while forecasting monthly and quarterly revenue
- Acquire new customers, cross-sell to existing accounts, and drive competitive conversions
- Serve as subject matter expert on Mass Spectrometry products, applications, and market competition
- Use CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline and achieve business results
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Applications Support and Field Service
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or similar subject area
- 3+ years sales experience, preferably in direct scientific capital equipment sales
- Expertise in LC/MS/MS analytical workflows and chromatography
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally
Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 base
