Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling

Driving advancements in sensory intelligence, the full-time Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling will develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze consumer sensory preferences, translating complex data into actionable insights for product innovation in a remote role based in the US. Key responsibilities Develop advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze consumer sensory preferences across various products and demographics Design and implement models for harmonizing sensory and consumer datasets across different studies and methodologies Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, translating analytical outputs into actionable recommendations for R&D and product development Required qualifications Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field Strong foundation in probability theory and Bayesian inference Experience with hierarchical/mixed-effects models and latent variable modeling Hands-on experience with variational inference and/or MCMC methods Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with strong data engineering and SQL capabilities
