Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse in Napa, California. This role involves providing comprehensive care within a specialized rehabilitation unit focusing on adult and geriatric patients recovering from various conditions such as stroke, trauma, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders. Candidates are required to bring their California state license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California state nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical rehabilitation setting, at least 5 years of patient ratio experience, and proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience, epic, Meditech, and PointClickCare EMR experience, willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Float: Possible float to other units or nearby facilities within hospital.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, pulmonary conditions, amputations, and multi-trauma. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and pharmacy. The patient census averages 10 daily. The candidate must be willing to work in an environment that participates in therapy involving PT, OT, & SLP, especially for rehab diagnoses requiring 3 hours of therapy daily.

• Additional notes: Traveler should coordinate housing options as options may be limited; candidates may be required to float within hospital or affiliate hospitals. RTO (leave) requested from July 19-25, 2026.
