Sr. Manufacturing Associate - 1st Shift

Senior Manufacturing Associate for pharmaceutical drug product operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Plainville facility. Supports GMP-compliant manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment on a first-shift schedule, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to GMP safety procedures and guidelines
• Spend 80–90% of time on manufacturing floor supporting production operations
• Participate in Tier 1 meetings and support room preparation and team readiness activities
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements and manage inventory supplies
• Support technology transfer and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years manufacturing/operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field with 2–3 years manufacturing or laboratory experience
• Work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Ability to maintain aseptic and cleanroom qualifications
• Knowledge of GMP processes, pharmaceutical equipment, and instrumentation
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
