Forklift Operator I

Operator I - Rincon, GA
The Operator I is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products according to customer guidelines and ISO 9001 requirements (where applicable). This role is qualified to operate a powered hand truck and standard forklift equipment to safely move product throughout the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive inbound materials/products and verify counts and condition.
- Store and organize materials in assigned locations per customer guidelines and procedures.
- Pick and distribute materials to production/shipping areas as needed.
- Operate a powered hand truck and standard forklift safely and efficiently.
- Follow work instructions and quality procedures, including ISO 9001 documentation/processes when required.
- Perform basic pre-use checks on equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all safety rules and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience operating a powered hand truck and forklift preferred (certification/training may be required onsite).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet quality standards.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
