Inventory Control Shipping Specialist Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00 to $20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm )
- Perform shipping & receiving of high volume items from UPS and freight trucks.
- Prepare Bill of Ladings and use web based shipping portals
- Repetitive lifting of 10-30 pounds and up to 70 lbs.
- Computer receiving and delivering to warehouse stock or production floor.
- Internal Shipping of sales orders.
- Coordination of outbound deliveries.
- Completing BOLs, interfacing with freight brokers and obtaining RFQs.
- Interface with all levels of internal employees as well as customer service to walk in business.
- Responsible for daily cycle counting of inventory.
Inventory Control Shipping Specialist Qualifications:
- Previous experience is required
- Industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Stand for most of 10-hour shift
- High level of strength and physical competence
- Great customer service skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
