Vision Systems Engineer

Vision Systems Engineer - Job Description Design and develop automotive vision systems including cameras, mirrors, glazing, wipers, and wash systems across the product lifecycle. Define system requirements, interfaces, and specifications aligned with vehicle architecture and regulatory needs. Lead or support RFQs, technical evaluations, supplier selection, and ongoing supplier engineering activities. Coordinate CAD, packaging, and CAE activities to ensure system integration, visibility, safety, and packaging targets are met. Own DVP&R, DFMEA, test plans, and quality documentation for assigned vision-related systems. Ensure compliance with global safety, visibility, and regulatory standards (FMVSS, ECE, OEM requirements). Support prototype builds, validation testing, and launch readiness activities. Track technical issues and drive cross‑functional resolution with manufacturing, quality, and vehicle integration teams. Contribute to continuous improvement through robust engineering and design‑for‑manufacturability practices.
