Guest Services AttendantThe Guest Services Attendant works with the public by facilitating POS transactions and food preparation at Divy's Grab and Go.Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:Creating a "guest ready" atmosphere at the service counter and throughout the 3rd floor Commons AreaAssist in the daily opening and closing tasks – scheduled and as neededSupport the needs of guests on the 3rd floorMaintain a clean and safe environment in the Grab and Go, this will include cleaning and maintenance that aligns with Museum and Snohomish County Health Department standardsCollect Zip Code informationOther miscellaneous duties as assignedRequirements:Position Requirements:A friendly and outgoing personality that thrives being in an active and vibrant work environmentComfortable working with active children and families and redirecting behavior as necessaryAttention to detail, particularly regarding health and safety standards and expectationsGood communication skillsComfortable using a POS system and basic cash handlingAdaptable to multi-tasking between the kitchen, service counter and Commons areaAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to direct volunteers when neededPossess initiative and the ability to self-direct, not requiring continuous supervisionAbility to adapt to changing conditions and assigned tasks throughout the workdayAbility to work special events after hoursCommitment to Imagine Children's Museum Core ValuesEducation and/or Experience:Customer service experience desired.Food service experience preferred.Current Washington State Food Handlers Card (Imagine will provide access to state training, if needed)Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The pay is $20 an hour.
