Technology Support Technician

The technology support technician will troubleshoot and maintain the district's computer equipment, desktop computers, terminals, projection systems, and peripherals including printers and scanners. This includes classroom and administrative PC, Mac, and iPads. This position offers growth opportunities into future network and system administration roles.

Minimum of three year's computer support experience. A + Certification is an advantage, but not necessary.

Ability to work on a team to support PC, Macintosh, computers and peripheral devices.

Install, repair, maintain, and monitor relevant desktop operating system(s) and hardware with associated tools and utilities.

Provide system/application administration such as account management, storage assignments and access authorization.

Provide expert input in recommending hardware and software configurations, solutions, and planning.

Assist in the development of new and/or revised administrative methods or policies to improve utilization, reporting, and overall accountability in administration of systems and applications to ensure efficient and effective resource utilization.

Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the Superintendent or designee.
