Neuropsychologist – Skilled Nursing Facility
? Far Rockaway, NY
A well-established skilled nursing facility in Far Rockaway is seeking a licensed Neuropsychologist to join our interdisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with geriatric and post-acute populations, providing comprehensive neuropsychological services in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:Conduct neuropsychological evaluations for residents with cognitive impairment, dementia, stroke, TBI, and other neurological conditions
Provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social work, and rehab teams
Support care planning and behavioral management strategies
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology
Licensed Psychologist in New York (required)
Postdoctoral training in neuropsychology preferred
Experience working with geriatric or skilled nursing populations strongly preferred
Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
