Description:
Candidates may not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any associated facility within the past year.
Travelers will be required to float as needed.
The unit typically manages a mix of patients, including Med/Surg Telemetry cases.
The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1.
Nurses are responsible for monitoring their own telemetry.
In-house security is available.
House transporters are responsible for patient transport.
Lab draws will be conducted by nurses.
The facility has a standby requirement.
There is a requirement to float to similar floors as needed.
These are boarding patients waiting for a room.
The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
Charting is performed using an electronic medical record system.
No specific advanced degree is required.
Candidates must possess a valid nursing license.
