What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (as required by state guidelines)
• Experience working with students with a variety of learning, behavioral, or physical disabilities
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Excellent communication abilities to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborative mindset to work with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings

What you’ll do:

• Teach and support students with individualized instruction and adapted curriculum
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state/federal special education requirements
• Partner closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Encourage student independence, self-advocacy, and success
