Stable Attendant Company: Grand Teton Lodge Company Location: Moran, WY, US Shift Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 Job Summary Wranglers lead guided interpretive horseback trail rides for guests. They assist guests on trail rides and assure their comfort and safety. They provide care for horses, maintain the corral in a neat, orderly fashion, and share knowledge about GTLC, Grand Teton National Park, and the surrounding Jackson Hole area. All activities are performed with a commitment to superior guest service, environmental stewardship, and safety. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $17.75/hr – $22.32/hr Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 Shift Type: Full Time (hours available) Minimum Age: 18 years Housing Availability: No (free dormitory housing not offered for this position) Responsibilities Guide trail rides and provide interpretive information to guests. Speak professionally and report/handle accidents on radio as necessary. Care for horses’ general well‑being, including brushing, saddling, feeding, watering, and cleaning. Maintain and repair corrals, hitch racks, and feed bunks. Give pony rides to young guests and complete daily chores such as saddling, grooming, and cleaning tack. Ensure safety of horses and guests, making decisions such as canceling rides due to weather or wildlife activity. Train and assist other wranglers, answering questions and providing instruction. Perform additional duties as requested. Qualifications Prior experience in riding and caring for horses. Valid U.S. driver’s license. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Strong verbal English skills. Ability to lift at least 100 lbs. Interpretive knowledge of Grand Teton National Park. Benefits Paid sick time. 401(k) retirement plan. Employee assistance program.
