This is an entry level position under the direction of the Production Supervisor with frequent guidance from a Senior Production Associate of the felt value stream; responsible for the assembly of high-quality Architectural Systems (Standard, Adaptive, and/or Lighting). Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Perform transactions in Shop-Trak; providing updates status on projects, material moves, and scrap for all assembly & packing operations
Collect parts and supplies for assembly and packing processes; conduct Inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and resupply as needed
Uses various hand tooling while performing assembly and packing operations efficiently IAW quality standards and established safety procedures
Works with peers to Identify product defects and report necessary nonconformances to Senior Production Associate, Supervisor, and/or Quality Inspector
Works with peers to perform reworks/repairs IAW industry best practices and/or engineering instructions
Works with peers to coordinate movement assembled parts and/or products to the next step operation
Prepare, Assemble, Package, and Label completed projects for shipping
Unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies
Completes work as required to meet production and schedule requirements
Follows safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required
Maintains equipment and work areas; cleans and performs basic repairs as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Possess basic arithmetic skills
Possess knowledge of personal computers skills. Communication and people skills; team player willing to learn.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (i.e., ability to wear required PPE, work in a dusty, hot, non-climate-controlled environment; with stairs, frequent walking, standing and occasional lifting of material).
Ability to work off shift hours in support of plant initiatives.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in core production roles within 90 days of hire.

Regularly required to talk or hear
Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
Regularly use hand-eye coordination, grasp, manipulate, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions
Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
