General Warehouse Worker

IMKO Workforce Solutions is currently accepting applications for an upcoming General Warehouse Worker assignment located approximately 30 minutes from Jefferson City, Missouri. First and second shift available with pay up to $20/hr. Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.Responsibilities:Expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the warehouse/facility.Moving incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received without damage or defect.Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.Replenish pick area and load outgoing merchandise.Qualifications:Knowledgeable in Data EntryBasic knowledge of simple math concepts.Good communication skills.Able to use Radio Frequency UnitsAble to maintain annual certificationsExperience and Education:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExperience working in either a warehouse or automated distribution center environment preferred.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems helpful but not required.Working Conditions:Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. on a regular basis, and on occasion, up to 85 lbs. using team lift.Must be able to walk long distances, including up and down stairsMust be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and push on a repetitive basis above and below shoulder level.May work up to 12-hour shifts.Exposure to heat and cold, as well as dusty conditions.Weekly Pay and Benefits#INDJEFF #J-18808-Ljbffr
