Overseeing field staff and supporting staff in areas such as managing clients.Salary: $100,000 Base salaryBenefits: full benefits including health, dental vision, life etc. after 60 daysRetirement: 401k with up to 3% matchPTO/Vacation: First two years 80 hours, year 3 is 3 weeksExperience: Minimum 1 year experience in Medicare Home Health AgencyAgreement: DON will sign offer letter and restrictive covenantsBilingual a plusWe are seeking someone to supervise all personnel who deliver direct patient services. Assist with recruiting, hiring, orienting and ongoing in-service education of the nursing staff.Maintains and adheres to agency procedures and patient care policy.Establish services policies and procedures in compliance with state health statutes and administrative rules to include CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines for employee safety, universal precautions, and infections control procedures.Assure compliance with company policy and all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.Remain informed of home health regulations and standards as well as management issues.Accountable for all clinical issues.Provide guidance and support for supervisory, field and office staff.Director of Nursing reports directly to the Administrator.Supervise all personnel (professional, personal care aides) who deliver direct patient services.Participates in all activities relative to the provision of professional services.Ensures that all staff providing care maintains professional standards of community nurse practice.Maintains and adheres to agency procedures and patient care policy.Establishes services policies and procedures in compliance with state health statutes and administrative rules to include CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines for employee safety, universal precautions, and infections control procedures.Assure compliance with company policy and all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.Supervise all clinical activities and staff related to nursing. Communicates and interacts with the Administrator.Assist with recruiting, hiring, orienting and ongoing in-service education of all nursing staff.Remain informed of home health regulations and standards as well as management issues.Accountable for all clinical issues.Provide guidance and support for supervisory, field and office staff.Conduct employee performance evaluations. Assists with development of new job standards as needed.Counsel staff appropriately and in a timely manner concerning areas of deficiency as well as areas of excellence and quality improvement.Ensure coordination of care by all disciplines.Assure that a reassessment of a client's needs is performed by the appropriate health care professional (i.e. when there is a significant health status change in the client's condition at the physician's request or after hospital discharge.)Ensure compliance with The Conditions of Participation.Participate in review, analysis and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total agency program.Participate in short- and long-range planning for the agency and implement specific measures for agency growth. Increase market share through education of physicians and other community and referral sources.Participate in the evaluation of agency programs.Participate in state, local and national organizations, meetings, seminars, workshops and activities relating to the home health profession and health care services.Assure service satisfaction through client visits and other measures, as appropriate. Investigate and resolve agency complaints.Ensure care delivery meets the needs of the patients and follows professional practice standards.Develop, implement, review and revise policies and procedures to guide care delivery.Monitor compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws, Professional Standards and principles, established policies and procedures and the plan of care.Is available at all times during business hours or designates in writing a qualified alternate registered nurse to service in her/his absence
