Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal – Bismarck, ND Meagher & Geer, a nationally recognized litigation defense and insurance coverage law firm, is hiring a Litigation Paralegal for our Bismarck, ND office. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a collaborative team working on complex medical malpractice defense cases. Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Responsibilities Draft legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials Request, organize, and summarize medical and non‑medical records Prepare deposition and trial materials, including subpoenas and exhibits Manage case files and deadlines across multiple matters Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel Support attorneys with trial prep, document production, and motion practice Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate (ABA‑accredited) 6+ years of litigation defense experience (medical malpractice preferred) Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g., iManage) Experience with time and billing software (e.g., Aderant) Medical background or experience reviewing medical records is a plus Ability to meet billable hour requirements and work overtime as needed Competitive salary commensurate with experience Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision insurance
