Job Summary/Description:

The Digital Content Producer helps the team with writing web stories managing station-branded social media accounts and contributing content to our streaming platforms. Ability to be on camera and ad-lib breaking news is a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Works with the digital content manager on strategic vision for the digital department and platforms including WAFFs social media pages YouTube and digital streaming channels
- Focused on a Digital First News Strategy including writing web stories app pushes livestreams and social media content
- Cross-departmental collaboration and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Schedule could involve working nights weekends and/or holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in journalism broadcast media or related field
- Previous experience in the digital field required
- Knowledge of AP Style required
- High-level understanding of journalistic ethics required
