You will evaluate, diagnose, admit, treat, and manage patients with diseases, disorders, and injuries of the:Ear, nose, throat, head, and neckFacial skeleton, upper respiratory tract, and upper alimentary systemYour Scope Includes:Operative & Non-Operative Care:Consistent with approved clinical privileges and Level 1C facility capabilities.Consultations:Inpatient and outpatient consults + follow-up care for patients referred by other clinical services and affiliated outpatient clinics.Emergency Coverage:Provide emergency and on-call otolaryngology services as assigned (consistent with granted privileges).Diagnostics:Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic studies; implement treatment plans consistent with VHA standards.Teaching:Educate and mentor medical students, interns, residents, technicians, and other physicians.Team Collaboration:Participate in surgical staff briefings, interdisciplinary care coordination, and continuity of care across services.Compliance:Maintain current licensure, board certification, credentialing, privileging, and completion of all required mandatory education/training.THE WORK SCHEDULE (Yes, it s real):
