Open Rank Gastroenterologist Position

We are actively seeking several full-time academic gastroenterology clinician-educators at the Assistant or Associate Professor level within our Division of Gastroenterology & Nutrition in the Department of Medicine. These roles are available on both Tenure and Non-Tenure tracks and are integral to our missions in patient care and education. The selected candidates will play a vital role in delivering exceptional gastroenterology services at our tertiary care teaching hospitals.

The division is composed of skilled faculty, mid-level providers, and a robust training program that includes 15 GI fellows and 1 Advanced Endoscopy Fellow. These positions offer the chance for independent practice while also providing opportunities to teach Gastroenterology Fellows across various clinical environments.

Successful applicants will have the chance to mentor diverse learners in clinical research and academic endeavors.

To qualify, candidates must possess an MD or equivalent degree and be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Additionally, they must hold a valid Texas medical license by the start date of their appointment.
