Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist provides skilled rehabilitation services to patients, aiming to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and supervising therapy assistants to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
  
  
• 
  Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Supervise PT Assistants and Aides to ensure proper patient care delivery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records, including evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to coordinate care and ensure patient comfort.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to HIPAA policies, billing procedures, and industry standards to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice or plan to obtain one soon.
  
  
• 
  Possess a degree in Physical Therapy.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Word, and general computer skills.
  
  
• 
  Have the ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with patient mobility, and perform physical duties.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to make independent clinical decisions.
  
  
• 
  Comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
