Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 7 AM to 7 PM, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 4-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients during labor and childbirth, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
Assist in the delivery of babies, ensuring that all safety measures are followed.
Educate and support families regarding newborn care and mother health.
Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
