Data Engineer I

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Data Engineer I will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and databases while analyzing healthcare data to drive informed decisions remotely. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows for data collection and transformation Analyze healthcare claims data to identify patterns and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and implement effective data solutions Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years of experience as a data analyst in the healthcare industry, preferably in claims Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) Knowledge of health data analytics, US healthcare policy, and multi-payer databases
