yWe’re partnering with a well-funded, high-growth software company seeking a Staff Backend Enginee r to join a small, highly collaborative engineering organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable systems, and working at the intersection of backend infrastructure, data, and AI-driven products

.You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining reliable, high-performance backend systems while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership. The team values pragmatic problem-solving, thoughtful architecture, and delivering measurable impact over chasing trends

.What You’ll D

• oTranslate customer and business needs into scalable technical solution
• sPartner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to drive initiatives from concept to productio
• nDesign, build, and maintain backend services and API
• sImprove system performance, reliability, and scalabilit
• yContribute to architecture decisions and technical strateg
• yWork across the full development lifecycle, from experimentation and testing through deployment and monitorin
• gHelp drive engineering best practices and mentor other team member

sWhat We’re Looking Fo

• r8+ years of backend software engineering experienc
• eStrong Python development experience in production environment
• sExperience building and scaling B2B SaaS product
• sDeep understanding of backend architecture, databases, and distributed system
• sExperience working at a startup or high-growth technology compan
• yFamiliarity with modern AI technologies and deploying AI-enabled features into production environment
• sStrong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic engineering mindse
• tAbility to move quickly while maintaining high standards for quality and reliabilit

yPreferred Qualification

• sExperience with Django or comparable Python framework
• sExperience working in regulated industries or environments where security, privacy, and compliance are critica
• lStrong computer science fundamental
• sExperience interacting directly with large language models and AI infrastructur
