Role: Clinical Pharmacist - Utilization Management (Remote)

- Primary Responsibilities:
- Review prior authorization and medical exception requests.
- Perform utilization review for medical necessity.
- Evaluate medical records and apply PA criteria.
- Handle 20-30 cases per day .
- Required Experience:
- Prior Authorization (PA) / Utilization Management experience.
- Knowledge of prescription drug formularies and pharmacy workflow.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and multiple systems).
- bility to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating with providers, patients, and healthcare staff.
- Required Qualifications:
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Active New York Pharmacist License (mandatory).
- Work Schedule:
- Remote, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET .
- Occasional weekend/holiday coverage may be required.
- Location:
- Candidates located in New York State .
- Contract Duration:
- Through the end of the year, with possible extension.
