Job Description As a Job Description As a Rental Car Customer Service Associate , you will help create a smooth, positive rental experience from start to finish. In this role, you will assist customers with their rentals and returns, offer products and services that meet their needs, shuttle customers as needed, and help ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, inspected, and ready for pick-up. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that combines service, sales support, and hands-on vehicle operations. Wage: $18.00/hour + monthly incentives, varies based on job performance What You'll Do Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service throughout the rental and return process. Greet customers, answer questions, provide directions, and share helpful local area or service information. Use company-approved sales and service techniques to understand customer needs and offer optional products and services. Prepare rental and return documents accurately, review rental terms and charges, and ensure customers understand their agreement. Qualify customers according to company rental requirements and follow all Hertz policies and procedures. Assist with customer queues, phone inquiries, and issue resolution to help minimize wait times and deliver a positive experience. Shuttle customers as needed and support smooth movement throughout the rental location. Help ensure vehicles are clean, safe, fueled, inspected for damage, and ready for customer pick-up. Support a team-focused environment by communicating clearly, staying flexible, and taking ownership of the customer experience. Computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems while assisting customers in person or by phone. Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; candidates fluent in additional languages are encouraged to apply. Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Experience in a customer-facing environment is preferred. Additional Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and remain active throughout the shift.
