ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Do you have litigation experience?)
MONTGOMERY, AL


A statewide trade association is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its legal department. This position will work closely with the legal team to provide legal guidance on matters impacting the organization's membership and assist in the development and implementation of legal and regulatory strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
o Provide legal analysis and guidance on policy, regulatory, and administrative matters affecting the association and its members.
o Support the development and execution of legal strategies and regulatory initiatives.
o Assist with litigation, rulemaking, and compliance efforts as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies:
o Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in the State of Alabama (required).
o 2 to 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: appellate law, regulatory or administrative law, policy, and/or litigation.
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
o Demonstrated project management abilities with a track record of leading or supporting complex legal initiatives.
o Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
