We are looking for a pleasant  Medical Receptionist  to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

It is preferred that you have taken a medical terminology class and it is preferred that you have worked in a medical office prior.

The goal is to make patients feel comfortable and valued while in our practice.

Job duties are as followed:

• Keep front desk tidy and presentable
• Greet and welcome patients
• Answer questions
• Take calls and redirect them or keep messages
• Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
• Check, sort and forward emails
• Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Keep updated records and files
• Preparing/maintaining charts for upcoming appointments
• Scheduling and check in/out
• Take up other duties as assigned'

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Medical terminology background
• Strong computer skills
• Medical office experience

Job Type: Full-time and part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
