Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for establishing clear objectives, managing scope, developing delivery plans and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Working across multiple teams and stakeholders, you will provide confident leadership, promote effective collaboration and ensure that project outcomes support wider business priorities.

Your responsibilities will include producing detailed project plans, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation; monitoring progress against key milestones; and providing accurate, timely reports to senior stakeholders. You will identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, taking appropriate corrective action where required. You will also oversee project controls, resource planning, procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring that delivery remains commercially sound and compliant with relevant policies and standards. A key part of the role will be building strong relationships with colleagues, partners and external stakeholders, while communicating complex information clearly to a range of audiences.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing complex projects, programmes or portfolios, ideally within a structured or regulated environment. You will be confident using recognised project management methodologies and tools, with a strong understanding of governance, financial control, risk management and benefits realisation. Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence decisions and manage competing priorities. A relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, would be advantageous. Above all, you will be a proactive and pragmatic leader who can bring people together, maintain momentum and deliver sustainable results in a changing environment.
