Event Coordinator, KemperSports LIVE

KemperSports LIVE is currently accepting applications for the position of Event Coordinator. This position will introduce a highly motivated individual to all aspects of athletic event management, communications, and brand activation. The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the KemperSports LIVE event team in all areas including hospitality, sponsorship coordination, participant communication and event operations for the 2027 McDonald’s All American Games. The position is based in KemperSports LIVE’s office (500 Skokie Blvd # 444, Northbrook, IL 60062). Hours are typically 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday but do involve some travel and extended hours based on event schedules. The position involves working in the office 2-4 days each week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day contact with event participants leading up to the 2027 McDonald’s All American Games including registration, coordinating travel, and tracking data as needed by event partners Assist with all aspects of planning, setup, execution of information center management, and post-event recapping Assist with McDonald’s All American Games event operations and logistics planning as needed Education/Qualifications/Certifications Must have a bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, or a similar industry Prior internships or experience in the sporting event industry preferred. Must be a senior or have a degree in a related field.
