Founding Content & Brand Associate

Preferred Locations: NYC / Hudson Valley Preferred, but Open to Remote Commitment: Flexible / Part-Time to Start About Us Rescue Bond Initiative is building a new system for permanent rescue animal placement. Our model combines animal welfare, long-term support systems, and human connection to help create placements that last, while reducing animal shelter overcrowding and human social isolation . We use a combination of experimental data science, social innovation mindset, and animal advocacy to prove out our model, eventually scaling our program regionally. Our pilot focuses on veterans, older adults, and re-entry participants as pet guardians . Our dogs and cats will come from local shelters, and will be companion-ready pets who have the highest time spent in the system. We cover the lifetime cost of each animal , and support adoption with training and materials. The organization is currently being built by former Fortune 500 corporate operators and leaders with backgrounds in scaling teams, operations, strategy, and innovation-focused ecosystem development. About the Position We are looking for a founding Social & Brand Associate to help bring Rescue Bond Initiative’s story, voice, and mission into the world during a critical early stage of growth . This role will work closely with the founder and leadership team to translate organizational priorities, field work, partnerships, and pilot development into compelling digital storytelling and brand execution. This is an execution-focused role for someone who is energized by helping build an organization from the ground floor . You will not be expected to independently define the company’s marketing vision from scratch, but you should be highly capable of helping operationalize, refine, and execute within it. There is significant opportunity for growth as the organization expands. Responsibilities Execute social and brand strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and related platforms Create and publish content including graphics, captions, stories, short-form video, and campaign materials Help document founder journey, shelter visits, meetings, pilot development, and organizational milestones Collaborate closely with leadership on storytelling and audience engagement Maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging Track engagement and growth metrics across platforms Support launch campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and partnership visibility About You Strong writer and communicator Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment Able to take direction and execute independently Organized, collaborative, and adaptable Impact is your passion. Strong Preference For Experience helping grow a startup, founder-led brand, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or equivalent tools Individuals who find themselves needing to resist petting every dog they see.
