About the Role: Rainbow Restoration of Sacramento is looking for a skilled and dependable Mitigation Technician to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. This is your chance to make a real difference by helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage when they need it most. Responsibilities: Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation and remediation services on residential and commercial properties Extract standing water and set up drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and desiccants Conduct moisture readings and document drying progress using industry-standard tools and software Safely remove damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation as part of the mitigation process Communicate professionally with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process Maintain, clean, and properly store all mitigation equipment and company vehicles Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend assignments as needed Requirements: Prior experience in water damage mitigation, restoration, or a related construction/trade field preferred IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or similar) is a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate Ability to operate extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters Strong attention to detail with the ability to document job site conditions accurately Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team About Us: Rainbow Restoration is a trusted name in property damage restoration, proudly serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Central Valley and Sacramento region.
