Finance Analyst

SAIC is hiring a detail oriented Finance Analyst . The ideal candidate will be self motivated, analytical and ready to work in a fast paced environment. This position is 100% remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report detailed information, analyze financial data in support of multiple projects and present briefings to SAIC managers as required.

• Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables and costs on hold on a recurring basis.

• Participate in AOP (annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, monthly latest revised estimates).

• Support ad hoc requests, as needed and requested by management.

• Proactively participate in process improvement efforts relating to finance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; OR Masters and one (1) year of related experience.

• Bachelors degree concentration in Finance, Accounting or business-related discipline preferred.

• Understanding of financial management.

• Must be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

• Familiarity with government contracting and the difference contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) is a plus.

• Experienced working in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to prioritize and be persistent in follow-through.

• Well versed in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to include advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.

• Working knowledge of CostPoint, Power BI, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Cognos Workspace Advanced preferred.

• US citizenship REQUIRED

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
