Now hiring for a Transportation Clerk Location: Groveport, OH $21.50 per hour Schedule: Sunday Thursday | 5:00 PM 1:30 AM

You're the one who keeps everything on track, from schedules to supplies to smiling faces. Support daily transportation operations through administrative coordination, DOT compliance tracking, driver support, billing functions, customer service, and logistics reporting while helping ensure efficient and successful delivery operations.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Minimum 1 year of logistics or transportation experience required
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

• Perform various office and administrative duties to support transportation operations
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, billing, payroll, and fuel reconciliation
• Maintain office supply inventory and assist with reporting functions
• Audit driver logs, trip reports, and DOT documentation
• Maintain driver files and ensure compliance with DOT requirements
• Track and maintain pallet inventory records
• Assist with customer service inquiries and issue resolution
• Coordinate driver equipment requests and follow-up activities
• Maintain and distribute route books
• Communicate daily with drivers regarding routes and operational needs
• Assist with vacation coverage and overflow freight coordination
• Maintain transportation databases and records

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting multiple departments or executive staff is beneficial.
• Experience with scheduling, document preparation, recordkeeping, and office coordination is preferred.
• Familiarity with business software, office equipment, and data entry systems is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and professionalism are well positioned for success as a Transportation Clerk.

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
• Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
