Senior Bookkeeper

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper – US Operations responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities for the US entity. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on core bookkeeping, accounting operations, and payroll support within a lean US finance function. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Process and manage payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain and reconcile payroll records, benefits, and deductions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (including payroll taxes and filings) Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes Support external audit requests and documentation Collaborate with HR on employee compensation, benefits, and onboarding Work with accounting and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex) Perform ongoing account reconciliations and accounting transaction management Work Routine Daily accounting transactions (AP/AR and GL entries) Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Monthly and quarterly close support Payroll accounting and reconciliation Reporting support to headquarters (HQ) Assistance with audits and financial reviews Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting, including payroll exposure Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
