Urology Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Practice Provider - Urology Location: Morgantown, WV Setting: Hospital-Based Practice Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionPosition Highlights: Join a collaborative, experienced urology team at a growing community-focused hospital Opportunity to work closely with urologists in both outpatient and surgical settings Emphasis on technologically advanced, patient-centered care First assist and procedural experience preferred Strong referral base and access to modern equipmentResponsibilities: Provide comprehensive urology care in collaboration with supervising physicians Manage outpatient clinic visits, hospital rounds, and assist in surgical procedures Participate in care planning and patient education across the continuum of care Support clinical documentation, follow-ups, and coordination with the care teamMinimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current or eligible WV license as a PA or Family Nurse Practitioner National certification (NCCPA or applicable NP certifying body) Active or eligible DEA license in West Virginia BLS certification (or ability to obtain during probationary period) ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within one year)Preferred Experience: Prior clinical or hospital-based experience Urology experience strongly preferred First assist training and surgical experience a plusCommunity: Morgantown offers a vibrant university town setting with natural beauty and low cost of living Access to outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and kayaking Strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and family-friendly amenities Short drive to Pittsburgh and easy travel to Washington, D.C.
