Shift Details:

• 12-Hours Shift

• Nights, Weekends and Holidays

• 36 hours work week

Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care - PICU

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

• RNs will be providing care of critically ill or injured children ranging from newborns to adolescents who need round-the-clock monitoring.

• RNs are responsible for intense interventions, lifesaving treatments and complex care for patients with life-threatening illnesses or conditions.

• RNs may be floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as needed to care for acutely ill newborns with a variety of medical conditions such as recovering from surgery, and having a variety of other medical needs, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of three (3) recent years of Pediatric Critical Care nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.

• AHA BLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS Certification,

• MAB or CPI

• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

• Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
