Bookkeeper

Responsibilities ROR Nation in Houston, TX is looking for one bookkeeper to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our USA-based team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate has strong numerical and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Process and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures. Monitor and reconcile company bank accounts and credit card transactions. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during tax filings and audits. Provide support during financial audits and internal reviews. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in bookkeeping software and MS Office Suite. Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
