Operations Supervisor

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at National Oilwell Varco, L.P. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the maintenance and restoration of rented equipment, while also managing a team of field operators and technicians. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our equipment is well-maintained and that our customers receive the highest quality service.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of field operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to NOV HSE policies and company guidelines.Create and manage work schedules for direct reports, optimizing productivity.Train employees on equipment servicing and troubleshooting techniques.Conduct field checks to monitor and evaluate job site performance.Perform rig surveys and inspections to guarantee proper equipment setup and safety.Maintain regular communication with customer representatives to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.Oversee the training and career development of operators and technicians.Ensure accurate invoicing and billing processes.Communicate upcoming work to shop personnel.Actively engage with customers to provide exceptional customer service.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in solids control equipment is essential.Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to assign and review daily tasks effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.Understanding of electrical diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.Knowledge of VFD programming.Job InfoJob Identification 43446Job Category OperationsJob Schedule Full timeLocations 2124 Maurice Road, Odessa, TX, 79763, US
