Details 26-bed Medical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio Techs are available on the unit for support Uses hoyer lifts, rolling computers, and rolling vital sign machines Charting is done in Meditech Day shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts per month May float to Surgical or Acute Rehab units Cares for patients returning from cardiac catheterization procedures Requirements Active UT or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Some med/surg experience preferred BSN preferred Proficient in medication administration and controlled substance handling Skilled in NG/NJ tube management, chest tube care, and heparin drip administration No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and lab values within normal limits Join a supportive team known for a positive attitude and strong assistance for new staff Unit has received recognition including a Safety Catch Award and multiple Daisy Awards Required dress code is navy blue scrub tops and bottoms Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates American Traveler Job ID P-750244.
