Operating Room Registered Nurse

Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Current state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in operating room settings. - Ability to float to similar units as needed. - Willingness to work 1 Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation. - Availability for 2-3 on-call shifts in a 6-week rotation. - Experience with various surgical procedures, including but not limited to abdominal hysterectomy, appendectomy, and total joint replacement. Description: The role requires providing high-quality patient care in an operating room environment. You will assist in surgical procedures alongside the surgical team. Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety are paramount. Knowledge of various surgical techniques, equipment, and patient management is essential. Candidates should be flexible to float to other units as required. This position may involve participation in weekend and on-call shifts. Effective communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role. Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred.
