Shift: 4x10-hour days, 7:00 am 5:30 pm (including 30-minute lunch)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

License/Certifications: KY State license (or open to licensing), NBCRNA Board Certification

Experience: Minimum 1 year (no new grads)

Hourly Rate: $226.20

What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia support across various departments, including ortho, trauma, vascular, and neuro (no cardiac or OB)
• Support staff including anesthesiologists, residents, anesthesia techs, and nurses
• Perform intubation, central line placement, arterial line insertion, and other procedures as needed
• Collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Work NORA shifts as required by hospital policy
• Support multiple patient cases daily, ranging from 1 to 9 patients per shift

What You Need

• Valid KY state license or willingness to license
• NBCRNA board certification
• At least 1 year of CRNA experience (no new grads)
• Proficiency in intubation, line placement, and critical care procedures
• Ability to work full-time, scheduled to cover every week

About the Assignment This assignment is at a premier hospital in Lexington, KY, a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing diverse cases and a collaborative team environment. CRNA will primarily cover orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases, with no neonatal or obstetric responsibilities. The role emphasizes both clinical skills and teaching, supported by a team of anesthesiologists, residents, and techs.
